Ryan Newman Finished 10th at New Hampshire

Ryan Newman and his #12 Alltel Dodge team had a great run at New Hampshire today finishing 10th after starting 12th.

Newman should have had a better finish but he was penalized during one of the cautions and had to serve his penalty by driving through pit row. On a two tire pit stop, Newman was leaving his pits and ran over the air hose that the tire changer was carrying. On his drive through Newman and his team decided to go ahead and change the other tow tires.

This had Newman restarted in the 27th position on lap 130 when the green flag dropped. The rest of the race did not show much coverage of Nemwan, but he steadily ran up to the 10th position by lap 300.

Congratgs to Newman and his team on there 7th top ten finish of the year. Newman will also maintain his 13th place in the the points standings but he will has dropped even farther away in actual points. He fell from -96 to -127.

Tenth is a solid finish for Ryan, again. But he afford to slip much farther back from 12th. Time to win some races.
