Rain Delays Dodge Avenger 500

Ryan Newman and his #12 Alltel Dodge team will have to wait until tommorrow to race the the Dodge Avenger 500 at Darlington Raceway.

This is the second weekend in a row that a Saturday night race has been delay and raced the following day due to rain. After last weeks rain delay, Nemwan started 30th and finished 6th.

A NASCAR race has not taken place on Mothers Day since the All-Star event at Atlanta in 1986.

So, make sure you catch Ryan Newman and his Penske Racing Dodge Alltel NASCAR Nextel Cup team tommorrow (Sunday) at 1 pm on FOX. The weather forecast is partly cloudy adn 80 degrees.
