Ryan Newman Finishes 8th At Chicagoland Speedway

Ryan Newman and his Mobile1 Dodge Nextel Cup team go there 8th top of the year by finishing 8th in the USG Sheetrock 400 at Chicagoland Speedway today.

Newman had a decent day running in the top 10 and top5 most of the day. From what I say it was a relatively uneventful day for Newman, he was on cruise control.

Newman earned 142 points with now bonus points. This moved Nemwan up to 13th position in the points and only 30 point outside of 12th position behind Dale Earnhardt JR. Once again Newman is close to the elusize 12th position for the chase.
