Rain pushes back schedule at Martinsville Speedway

MARTINSVILLE, Va. - Rain has caused today\'s schedule of events at Martinsville Speedway to be altered. Whenever the track is dried - jet dryers were working on the surface at 12:15 p.m. EDT, and the track generally takes about 45 minutes to dry - the NASCAR Nextel Cup cars will begin practice and stay on the track until 2:30 p.m. EDT. The Craftsman Truck Series entries will then practice from 2:40 to 4 p.m., followed by Cup qualifying at 4:45 p.m. EDT.
