Overnight Texas TV ratings up 12.5 percent

Fox's broadcast of Sunday'sSamsung 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway earned a 5.4 overnight Nielsen Media Research rating, track officials say.

The rating is 12.5 percent higher than the 4.8 the race earned last year and matches last year's final national figures, which are traditionally higher.
